My Best Advice

I know, I know, I haven’t been blogging lately. I’m still adjusting to life as a working momma. It hasn’t been easy. For awhile there, I just gave up all of the maintenance. Laundry piled up for weeks, messes scattering rooms, more than that, I hadn’t flipped a Bible page, I missed a few church services, skipped my community groups.

All in the name of work, which is actually a ministry in and of itself if you know the value of children. So work/ministry was causing me to skip out on other life-work/ministry.

Most days, I just wanted to crawl into bed and sleep. So I did, took naps with the baby when I got home. Naps that were never long enough because I had to prepare for the following day of applesauce lunch and foot pain.

Thank God, we get tired of being tired, though. Because I thought alleviating myself of things for other things would alleviate stress about the long list of things.

It didn’t because, the thing is… this for that doesn’t solve a thing. And stress is another monster of its own, completely separate from your things. Maybe we’ll talk about it another day.

There’s only one solution that keeps smacking me in the face.

Read the Bible. Read the Bible. Read the Bible.

And that’s all I’ve got for you today.

Read the literature we know is God’s Word. I’m about to go do that, myself, right now.

With love,

Mama X

  1. This is great advice 💗 I am continually amazed at Mothers like you. Pouring out your life at work and at home, it is exhausting! And understandable that you’ve barely had any time for much else. Thanks for the encouragement today!

    1. It’s the only advice that seems to work for me anymore! I am also motivated by moms like you who do so much at home and in the community, you don’t go unnoticed. As always, thank you for stopping by with your friendliness 🥰

  2. The struggle is real – going through the same right now. The only thing that gets me by is my Devotionals and the love of my family.
Don’t stress – everything works out in due time.

    Romans 8:28 (NIV)

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
